New working and living worlds in Siemensstadt: Uniting work, research and living! This was already the intention when Siemensstadt was founded more than a century ago. And it will continue to be so in the future: In the coming years, new worlds of work and living will be created on the Siemens site in Berlin-Spandau.
The historic administration building and its surroundings will be the first building block of Siemensstadt 2.0. A building construction competition will be launched in the spring to develop a utilization concept for the administration building and to compete to find the best architectural solutions for the new buildings in the surrounding area. For this purpose, the task definition - the so-called invitation to tender - is currently being prepared.
