Planning the future together

Planning for the new district of the future is taking place in close coordination with the state of Berlin. Two architectural competitions have already been held jointly, laying the foundations for Siemensstadt Square.

    This is what the future entrance to Siemensstadt Square will look like

    As part of this competition, six landscape architecture firms developed ideas for the design of the open spaces for the Siemensstadt Square entrance plaza. A jury has now announced the winning design.

  • Sophia Lieberich and Laura Weber (RWTH Aachen) received 1st prize for their project "Where the future roots".
    Transformation 2022 - Switch!

    To this competition invited Siemens and the cultural association of the German industry in BDI e.V. Students developed 15 drafts for the design of a work and meeting landscape in the complex of the historical Schaltwerkhallen.

    Building construction competition 2020

    Only Berlin-based architectural firms were invited to participate in the building construction competition. Their task: designs for the entrance area and the first new buildings.
