With passion, craftsmanship, and high-tech: Siemensstadt Square continues to grow

Since the last update, there has been significant progress at the construction site at the entrance plaza of Siemensstadt Square. By 2027, an innovation campus will be completed here, featuring approximately 40,000 square meters of flexible office and innovation space - designed for digital excellence and sustainable technologies. The next phases of construction are now underway.

Atrium: The shell is complete; the facade is under construction

The Atrium building has reached an important milestone: The structural work is complete - including the reinforced concrete and timber structures, which are the central components of the sustainable timber-hybrid construction method. Work is currently underway to install the facade, which is gradually enclosing the building. At the same time, the first technical building installations are getting underway, before interior finishing, further roof design for the Atrium, and landscaping around the building follow in the coming months.

Skyscraper: Reached level 12 of 17

Work is also progressing on the high-rise building. Now that the load-bearing columns have been poured, the structural framework continues to rise. Construction has currently reached the 12th floor out of a total of 17. At the same time, work has begun on installing the building services systems, such as electricity, water, heating, ventilation, and fire protection.

Team at work: 12 trades working together

On an average workday, around 150 construction workers from about ten to twelve different trades are on site - from structural work, facades, scaffolding, and drywall to building services. The construction work is supported by a logistics and waste management team that ensures smooth operations as well as the proper sorting and disposal of construction waste.

As work on the facade and interior continues, the atrium and high-rise will increasingly take shape as completed buildings in the coming months. We’ll keep you posted!
